Bristol Hills Wine and Beer Tours
BRISTOL HILLS BEER AND WINE TOUR
Our private Bristol Hills wine and beer tours take you through the rolling, glacier-formed hills south of Rochester. Ride along winding country roads and take in stunning views of Canandaigua Lake. With our door-to-door pickup and dropoff, you can sit back and enjoy the ride – and sample the beverages – without the worry.
Tasting fees are not included, so you have complete flexibility: a flight, a glass, or sharing. Bring your own lunch and snacks, stop at a local cafe, or order a bite while you’re sampling your beverages. We’ll let you know which venues offer food and which allow picnics.
On weekends, make a stop at Hollerhorn Distilling in Naples to sample rum-style spirits, craft gin, single-malts, and fruit brandies. No matter where we go, our Bristol Hills beer and wine tours are always a fun trip. Book your fun today!
BRISTOL HILLS WINE TOUR
Small but mighty, these wineries have held their own against the more well-known Finger Lakes giants!
Bristol Valley Vineyards – This small-batch winery creates whites wines in the classic German and Finger Lakes styles, robust semi-dry reds, and sweet honey wines reminiscent of meads.
Heron Hill – This satellite tasting room of Heron Hill Winery is located in a 100-year-old barn overlooking vineyards of Cabernet Franc and Riesling grapes. Since 1977, Heron Hill Winery has made elegant world-class wines.
Arbor Hill Grapery – Situated in a complex of vintage buildings, Arbor Hill produces award-winning wines on site, and has a tasting room inside a gourmet foods store, which also offers almost any product you can think of having to do with wine. You can also try New York State cheeses, along with the locally famous Grape Pie!
Inspire Moore Winery – producing over 12 different wines, including Riesling, Gruner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Traminette, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and recently their award-winning ‘Best of NY state’ Blaufrankisch.
Hazlitt Red Cat Cellars – Hazlitt’s Naples facility focuses on native and hybrid variety wines made from grapes like Catawba, Niagara, and Concord, sourced from local Finger Lakes farmers.
BRISTOL HILLS BEER TOUR
Visit some of the seven locally-owned breweries that are strung like a necklace through the Bristol Hills:
Engine 14 Brewery – This firehouse-themed brewhouse, established by a former firefighter, has a ‘60s-era fire truck inside! There’s something here for everyone with pilsner, cream ale, brown ale, IPAs, stout, and sours.
The Noble Shepherd – A family-owned brewery offering a wide variety of beer styles, with their IPAs definitely being the favorites.
Birdhouse Brewing – The renovated 1850s structure houses a one-barrel brew system to create a unique selection of small batch brews. A large back garden and unique food menu add to the experience!
Other Half Brewing – Specializing in hops, Other Half typically has 16 IPAs on tap. But they also many styles of stout, porter, lagers, and sours. They also serve local wines and ciders.
Irish Mafia Brewing – This brewery plays off of the owner’s Irish heritage to bring you “epic” ales, lagers, and, of course, stouts.
Brews & Brats – The towns of Bristol and South Bristol were noted for hop production. The Bristol Springs Brand beers are a tribute to their rich historical significance. A wonderful menu of appetizers, bratwurst, and German-style sides is also available!
Naples Brewing Company – A nano-farm brewery that sources nearly all their ingredients from within New York State. Murmuration Malts in nearby Bloomfield, Drumlin Hops in Bristol and Cobblestone Hops in Ontario are all local suppliers.
