Bristol Hills Wine and Beer Tours

$80 per person

Canandaigua Lake Bristol Hills Wine and Beer ToursOur Bristol Hills wine and beer tours take you through the rolling hills and narrow valleys south of Rochester, to the foot of Canandaigua Lake.  Ride along winding country roads and take in stunning views of Canandaigua.  Sip the wine and beer proudy made from local ingredients. At breathtaking Gannett Hill Park, look south over the steep-sided Bristol Valley and north to Rochester.  Pick up unique gift items from a nearby shop:  Wizard of Clay in Bloomfield, with their signature Bristoleaf patterned pottery created using leaves from the surrounding countryside; Arbor Hill Grapery, offering almost any product you can think of having to do with wine; or Artizanne’s Gifts in Naples, featuring all types of Finger Lakes-themed items.  Our Bristol Hills beer and wine tours have something for everyone!

Tasting fees are not included, so you have complete flexibility: a flight, a glass, or sharing.  We provide door-to-door pickup and drop-off, and your group will be the only one in the vehicle.  Bring your own lunch and snacks, stop at a local cafe, or order a bite while you’re sampling your beverages. We’ll let you know which venues offer food and which allow picnics.

If you have certain places you’d like to stop, just let us know and we’ll tailor your itinerary to fit. On Fridays and Saturdays, we can include a stop at Hollerhorn Distilling in Naples, where you can sample rum-style spirits made from Finger Lakes maple syrup, craft gin, single-malt whiskeys, and fruit brandies. Not all venues are open every day, but no matter where we go, our Bristol Hills beer and wine tours are always a fun trip. Book your fun today!

BRISTOL HILLS BEER TOUR

Canandaigua Bristol Hills Wine and Beer TourVisit some of the seven locally-owned breweries that are strung like a necklace through the Bristol Hills:

Engine 14 BreweryThis firehouse-themed brewhouse, established by a former firefighter with the Rochester Fire Department, even has a ‘60s-era fire truck inside! There’s something here for everyone with pilsner, cream ale, brown ale, IPAs, stout, and sours.

The Noble Shepherd – A family-owned brewery located just minutes from Honeoye Lake and Bristol Mountain, offering a wide variety of beer styles, with their IPAs definitely being the favorites.

Birdhouse Brewing – The renovated 1850’s era structure in the village of Honeoye houses a one-barrel brew system to create a unique selection of hand crafted, small batch brews that are constantly changing.

Other Half Brewing –  Specializing in hops, Other Half typically has 16 IPAs on tap. But they also many styles of stout, porter, lagers, and sours, and a fantastic outdoor space. They also serve local wines and ciders. Canandaigua Bristol Hills Wine and Beer Tour

Irish Mafia Brewing – This brewery, with its whimsical story, plays off of the owner’s Irish heritage to bring you “epic” ales, lagers, and, of course, stouts.

Brews & Brats – The towns of Bristol and South Bristol were noted for hop production, and the Bristol Springs Brand pale ale, IPA and porter developed and served here are a tribute to their rich historical significance.  They also serve a wonderful selection of appetizers, bratwurst, and sides.

Naples Brewing Company – A nano-farm brewery that sources nearly all their ingredients from within New York State, including malts from Murmuration Malts in Bloomfield and hops from Drumlin Hops in Bristol and Cobblestone Hops in Ontario.
